Milagros Porturas founded and owns Awesome Investments. She brings a rare combination to the table: years of hands-on experience in construction, a long track record in real estate investment, and the operator's instinct for residential flips — knowing exactly where value is created and where it quietly leaks away.

Having both built homes and invested in them, Milagros understands a deal from two sides at once. She can read a property's renovation scope the way a builder does — permits, structure, additions, cost — and underwrite its economics the way an investor must, from acquisition through sale. That dual fluency is the foundation the entire firm is built on.

She leads deal sourcing, underwriting discipline, and every capital-partner relationship personally. For Milagros, the standard is simple: only take on deals where our construction capability creates a real edge, execute them to a documented standard, and treat a partner's capital with the same care as her own.

Our story

Built on the work, not the pitch.

Most real estate investment operations are run by people who buy real estate. Most construction companies are run by people who build it. The two rarely live under one roof — and the gap between them is where flips lose money: optimistic budgets, third-party estimates that don't hold, and schedules nobody is truly accountable for.

Awesome Investments was founded to close that gap. By pairing real estate investment with a real, full-time construction operation, we underwrite the deals other investors avoid and execute them with cost and schedule certainty that comes from doing the work ourselves.

The result is a focused firm: residential flips and new builds in Dallas–Fort Worth, structured one deal at a time, with qualified capital partners who value capability over a sales pitch.
